I. Overview

After being pushed out of the professional team he helped define, Ye Xiu takes a night-shift job at an internet café and enters a newly opened server of Glory. To other players, his new character looks eccentric. To Ye Xiu, it is a chance to use years of knowledge without the commercial and organizational constraints of his former career.

The story expands from server records and improvised dungeon teams into the work of building a professional roster. Its focus stays on expertise: how it is recognized, taught, underestimated, and coordinated under pressure.

Ye Xiu is already one of the game’s best players. Because raw skill is not his obstacle, the central challenge is leadership: finding resources, recognizing potential, and creating a team capable of competing at his level.

Ye Xiu’s unusual new character lets years of professional knowledge collide with a server full of players who do not yet recognize him. Records and improvised teams turn expertise into visible action rather than abstract reputation.

Building a team
